Clate Mask,
President
of Infusionsoft,
just passed this one on to
me.
"On
occasion, what you need most
is a burst of inspiration to
keep you moving forward.
This is a quote I recently
stumbled upon... and found
very inspiring."
-Clate Mask
"Do not be too timid and
squeamish about your
actions. All life is an
experiment."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
It's
amazing how one random idea,
leads to another idea.
As I thought about this
quote, I reflected upon my
life and where it has taken
me. I then settled in
on the thought of
"Thanksgiving". Now
except for the last 4 years,
or so, most of my
"Thanksgiving Days", where
spent outside of the U.S.
For me "Thanksgiving Day",
meant Turkey Dinner, with
all the trimmings and a
gathering of family and
friends. Some of my
earliest and fondest
memories are of
"Thanksgiving" with a large
family around the table,
having a feast. Plus
watching some football, and
usually falling asleep on
the sofa. Well, I have to be
really honest here, in the
early days we did not have
T.V., so I know it was more
about the "Gathering", than
the football.
Every year since, no matter
where I was, I have always
celebrated Thanksgiving,
took the day off and had a
Turkey prepared, the rest of
the menu would change but
the Turkey was there. Minus,
the football. See, it
was all about the
"Gathering".
It's a time to say thank you
to my family and to my
friends for being in my
life. Whether, I was
able to actually tell them
face to face did not matter.
I was saying thank you for
being a "Blessing in my
Life", and I know that they
could sense that "Thank
You". Keep in mind
that the U.S. is the only
country that celebrates
"Thanksgiving". So I was a
bit of an oddity, but I do
know this that there are
still a few people in other
countries celebrating
"Thanksgiving" even now.
So, this weeks "Business
Building Tips", is about
being "Thank:FULL.
Full of thanks for
everything.
Come to think of it, this is
one of the most important
parts of CRM. The act
of saying "Thank You".
Not only in CRM, but in any
relationship. Tell
your customers, Thank you.
You will be surprised how
much the relationships will
grow.
So, a
very sincere "THANK YOU",
and a wish for prosperity
and happiness.
